HOUR WHEEL

The hour wheel is a specialized gear in a mechanical watch or clock that is responsible for driving the hour hand. Working within the "motion works" (the gear train that drives the hands), it ensures the hour hand moves at the correct pace, completing one full revolution every 12 hours.
